The Mizel Museum and Jewish Family Service bring the annual memorial to the People Place on the grounds of Babi Yar Park located at Havana and Yale in Denver. This year's memorial will feature a live concert performance. Watch for more details.

  My Self: Original Self Portraits of the Mizel Museum Artist Alliance

May 4, 2009 through September 1, 2009
The My Self: Original Self Portraits exhibit features original works by local and national artists who comprise the Mizel Museum Artist Alliance. MMAA members were asked to submit self-portraits in various media portraying traditional or conceptual/abstract figural works. The exhibit is open for viewing during regular museum hours Monday through Thursday.

  Mizel Museum CampM! is still taking registrations
Full day camps begin at 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Half day camps in the morning or afternoon (download the brochure for a schedule). Full Day camps: morning plus lunch supervision is Noon to 12:30 pm, $10 per day. Please send a vegetarian lunch for each child.

Docent-led group tours through Babi Yar Park located at Yale and Havana in Denver. Tours focus on lessons about history, geography and human rights.

The CELL   THE CELL is now open.
Located within the Denver Civic Center Cultural Complex, across from the Denver Art Museum, The Center for Empowered Living and Learning (The CELL) presents its first permanent exhibit, “Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: Understanding the Threat of Terrorism” as an educational tour of global terrorism and the challenges its poses to civilized societies today.
