Voices of Resilience, a poignant four-part exhibition on the often taboo subject of genocide, educates viewers on the subject and celebrates the resilience of genocide survivors. On view are images, text letters, poetry and sculptural installations. The four exhibits are: Healing Beauty, with artists Moyo Okediji and Wole Lagunju; The Dead Weight of Complacency, a series of text an image panels on genocide; Holocaust and Hope: Students Speak, an exhibition of original poetry, art and letters by 7th and 8th graders at the Challenge School in the Cherry Creek School District; and Survivor Quilt, a paper quilt created by survivors from the Rocky Mountain Survivor Center.

Genocide lecture series

Co-presented by the Colorado Coalition for Genocide Awareness and Action. Dates and times, October-January, to be determined and announced.

The Colorado Coalition for Genocide Awareness and Action’s mission is to challenge society to end complacency toward and raise awareness of genocides past and present and take action to stop genocides present and future.
