SUNDAY, MARCH 25 – Muriel Bloch, one of France’s greatest Jewish storytellers comes direct from the Grand Boulevards of Paris to dazzle our adult audience with treasures from her magnificent eye into the shtetls of Europe and the steppes of Mongolia. This program is in partnership with Rabbi Severine Sokol and Neal Sokol. Wine and cheese reception following program.

Muriel has been telling stories for over 30 years and has traveled extensively with her performances. Her repertoire is eclectic and includes “recycled” traditional tales and original stories. Muriel initiated the “Paris sur Paroles” for the Paris Quartier d’Été festival, where storytellers choose unusual places like luxury hotels, cemeteries, banks, town hall, wedding halls, warehouses to perform. On request of the Festival d’Automne in Paris, she brought together 15 storytellers from all over the world to perform in their own languages. She has participated in festivals all over the world and is the author of over 20 books. Visit Muriel’s website. It’s in French but it’s worth a visit!
