Creative Sundays Workshop: Boxes of Life, Keepsakes as Art

SUNDAY, FEB. 26 – Participants will create their own Box of Life with found objects, collage, photography, drawing and painting. Fine art photographer and mixed-media artist Dona Laurita is the creator of Cassa da Vita (Box of Life), a project that crafts life stories in books, audio and film recordings, photographs and paintings to create one-of-a-kind multimedia documentary works of art.

Creative Sundays Workshops are offer a means of expression and a chance to gain clarity and enjoy community during our complex lives. Modeled after our successful programs for young people, The Mizel Museum offers accessible, hands-on workshops with stellar teaching artists in a warm, inviting setting for people of all skill levels. Workshops include materials and a sumptuous lunch.
