Discover Journeys @ Salon Nights
Set in the tradition of Gertrude Stein’s early 20th Century artist gatherings, Salon Nights will amuse and stimulate the mind and senses through improvisational ‘conversations’. Mizel Museum’s new exhibit, 4,000 Year Road Trip: Gathering Sparks is the context for three ‘salon nights’.
- Four of the museum’s Community Narratives Project digital stories will be shown
- Two selected participants will share their responses – a poem, a song or a story
- The conversation becomes even richer when participants share their own impromptu responses through several options for creative expression
