Sukkahpalooza! An Ingathering of Friends and Neighbors

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16 – The holiday of Sukkot is all about celebrating the autumn harvest and connecting with the outdoors. Our first Sukkahpalooza! will do exactly that! Everyone is welcome on Sukkot – all backgrounds and all ages – to rejoice in each other, in the beauty of the outdoors and in the bounty provided to us by the earth. The museum’s exhibit will provide inspiration for the completion of our new sukkah, Cherie Karo Schwartz will enlighten us with stories about the season, we’ll create instruments out of vegetables with guest artist Sheldon Sands and then Denver’s first vegetable band will perform!
