SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23 – Hit the road with the Mizel Museum! Join us on this fascinating behind-the scenes tour of Jewish Denver as it was and as it is today. Guided by the expertise and perspective of historian Jeanne Abrams, history will come alive. The tour begins at the Mizel Museum for a bagel breakfast. Then it’s off to Babi Yar Park, National Jewish Hospital, the old BMH and Temple Emanuel, and the Auraria Campus. After lunch, we’ll visit Denver’s old West Side and the site of the Jewish Consumptive Relief Society. Back at the Museum where we’ll peruse 4,000 Year Road Trip: Gathering Sparks. Individuals, families and groups are welcome. Co-sponsored by CAJE and Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society.
