The Mizel Museum is pleased to honor Glenn R. Jones with its 2012 Community Enrichment Award, to be presented to Jones at the 22nd Gala Dinner on May 23, 2012, 6:00 pm at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, 7711 E. Academy Blvd., Denver.
The Mizel Museum acknowledges outstanding contributions to the arts with the Community Enrichment Award at an annual dinner gala. Among past recipients are Sharon Magness Blake, Dean Singleton, Norman Brownstein and Governor Elect John Hickenlooper and Anna and John J. Sie.
Mr. Jones is the chairman and CEO of Jones International, Ltd., founder of Jones International University and chairman and chief executive officer of Jones Knowledge Group and Jones e-global Library. He has spent four decades extending the reach of technology, first by bringing cable television to American homes, then by fusing education with the Internet to deliver education to students worldwide. Jones has created numerous businesses in the fields of technology, entertainment, CRM software and advertising. He is also the author of several books.
