Treasured Israeli educator Sharona Grinsteiner and her crew take kids on an imaginative journey through award-winning picture books of The PJ Library®. Young travelers “jump” into these stories through creative dramatics, art projects, movement and more. A MazelTot® sponsored program.

Kids can enjoy 4,000 Year Road Trip: Gathering Sparks, with our fun and colorful Scout About activity, a scavenger hunt-type activity that encourages kids to locate major components of the exhibit, think about and document their thoughts and ideas. Our family Sukkot program, Sukkahpaloozah! is a fun festival celebrating the fall harvest with music, art projects, storytelling, food and fun. Sukkahpalooza! 2013 date to be announced.
Creative Journeys 2013
The Mizel Museum will present our fourth year of Creative Journeys, a stellar line-up of artists-in-residence who will guide kids ages 3-14 in exploring their inner talents and expressing themselves through a wide variety of fun and exciting activities. Each camp is a unique journey with renowned teaching artists who combine cultural content with the arts. Next summer’s schedule will include affordable, week-long sessions led by Mizel Museum teaching artists featuring photography, theatre, dance and music, drama, cartooning and more. Families with kids can enjoy The Art of Shabbat, our series of community Shabbat dinners that bring together diverse crowds to learn about how art and Shabbat go together. Interesting stories, music, candle lighting and great food make it an evening to remember. Check our online calendar for program dates.
