The Mizel Museum is proud to present our third year of Creative Journeys, a remarkable line-up of artists-in-residence who will guide kids ages 3-14 in exploring their inner talents and expressing themselves through a wide variety of fun and exciting activities. Each camp is a unique journey with renowned teaching artists who combine cultural content with visual arts, theatre, music, movement, photography and more. We are especially excited about several new community partnerships this season, including new off-site locations.
We’re hearing such a positive buzz about Creative Journeys and we know it’s because there’s no program like it! Kids take up residence in the Mizel Museum and at our partner locations with teaching artists who are passionate about their disciplines and working with kids. Kids of all interests and backgrounds develop skills, self-confidence, teamwork and friendships. Camp size is limited to allow the leader and visiting artists to work individually with campers.Download the Camp Brochure Camp Forms & Parent Handbook
We welcome all backgrounds and all kinds of kids—athletes, bookworms, artists and everything in between! Each camp becomes its own community by participating together in a service project, experiencing the encouragement of our staff, indulging in healthy snacks, and creating a final celebration on Friday afternoons for families and friends. If your child doesn’t typically participate in arts programs, give them just one week at Creative Journeys. The fun is contagious. Whether you choose one week or several weeks, it will be a memorable journey. See you under our “tent!”
