Denver Collects: Behind the Scenes of Art Appreciation and Collecting
The Mizel Museum presents a series of approachable and engaging programs focused on art appreciation and collecting. At the end of the series, you’ll have a better understanding of how to interact with art, how to seek out artwork that speaks to you and how to start an art collection – one piece at a time.
We’ll visit unique private home collections, hearing from collectors whose lives have been enriched by collecting original artworks. We’ll discuss how to experience and embrace different styles and art forms by touring several different galleries and talking to gallerists in the RiNo Art District, located just north of Downtown Denver and boasting a remarkable concentration of creative businesses, designers and studio spaces.
