There is an artist in all of us, and Boris Shoshensky, professional artist, professor and resident art instructor at the Mizel Museum, strives to nurture that talent through individualized studio direction. Boris’s art classes attract students from all walks of life and all skill levels. A well-known master painter, Shoshensky teaches concepts and techniques for all levels. Restorative Hatha Yoga
Wednesdays, 4:45-6:15pm
Enjoy a gentle, strengthening, restorative yoga class in the peaceful and inspiring setting of the Mizel Museum’s exhibit. Instructor Lisa Eller Davis brings more than 30 years of experience in the healing arts. She began meditating at age 15 and stepped onto a yoga mat for the first time at age 18. Lisa received her teacher certification through training at the Prana Yoga and Ayurveda Mandala in Colorado and is a registered member of the Yoga Alliance. Price per class is $18; pay at the door.

Jewish Meditation with Rabbi Stephen Booth Nadav

Meditation has been part of Judaism since the time of King David or ealier. Jewish meditation is the practice of making ordinary moments sacred, or finding the sacred in the ordinary. Join Rabbi Steve to develop the skills of Jewish mindfulness including meditation instruction, chanting, walking, Torah and text study. No previous meditation experience is necessary, and people who have meditated in any tradition are welcome. All levels and backgrounds welcome. Drop-in class; donations accepted.
