In remembrance of over 200,000 Jews, Ukranians, and others who were murdered in 1941 and whose bodies were dumped into a ravine near Kiev, Ukraine. Known as Babi Yar, the Denver park was dedicated in 1970 and developed as a contemplative public space. Download the article.
