Salon Night: In Photos – Contemporary Jewish Migration, Causes & Effects

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8 – The museum’s permanent exhibition, 4,000 Year Road Trip: Gathering Sparks, features the photography of Israeli artist Zion Ozeri. For this special Salon Night, Zion will be with us in the museum galleries for the first time. He’ll discuss the themes his photography so organically describes — migration, immigration and the contemporary Jewish diaspora — through a close look at his stunning portrait photographs from Yemen, Uzbekistan, the former Soviet Union and Latin America. Light refreshments and beverages will be paired with the program. Reception at 5:30pm; program at 6:00 pm.
